Guidelines for oral/poster presenters
Oral Presentation Guidelines
The time allocated for oral presentations is 15 min in total, including 2–3 min discussion at the end of each talk.
The Conference room will be equipped with a laptop PC, a LCD projector, microphones and a laser pointer. Please note that you cannot use your own laptop for your presentation. Presenters of oral talks should send their presentations in PowerPoint or PDF formats to info@nbevents.gr before the meeting, using the conference template. Please include in the filename the abstract ID number and make sure that the presentation shows correctly.
In any case, your presentation should be uploaded to the room laptop at least before the beginning of the session. There will be a conference assistant present to help you upload your presentation.
The conference has a presentation template and we would like to ask you to kindly use that one. The conference template is available in pptx format.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
All poster presentations from all six sessions can be put on display on Wednesday September 4, 2024, and they will may remain throughout the duration of the conference.
Poster Short Orals
During GGHS2024, the late afternoon session, just before the poster session, will be devoted to short orals for posters. The short oral presentations intendent to introduce the work to be presented during the poster session and initiate fruitful discussions. Short orals are 1-slide presentations summarizing your work. The duration of the short orals will be 4 min, including 3 min for the presentation and 1 min to make the change between talks. Please make sure that you will have only one slide and keep the time. For the short oral presentation please use the conference template which is available in pptx format.
Poster Dimensions
The dimensions of posters on GGHS2024 are 90cm (wide) by 120 cm (high). Please make sure that your Poster does not exceed these dimensions. All the material necessary for placing the posters to the boards will be available at the facility desks in the respective Poster Area. Assistance will be available by the secretariat’s personnel.
On site printing of Posters
We can arrange to print your poster locally. Please send a PDF file to info@nbevents.gr before August 25 2024. We will inspect the validity of the file and we will send you a confirmation within 24 hours. The cost per Poster is 50 € which can be paid at registration desk upon your arrival to the conference.
